Ans.

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends. Good morning, everyone! Today, I want to talk to you about something really important—saving nature. It might sound big, but it’s actually about taking care of the wonderful world around us.

Firstly, let’s remember this: we stay alive only if nature stays alive. All the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat come from nature. So, if we want to be healthy and happy, we need to look after nature.

Now, think about the trees, the green plants, the animals, and the birds. They are all part of nature. Imagine a world without trees or birds—it wouldn’t be as beautiful or lively. That’s why we need to stop cutting down so many trees. It’s called deforestation, and it’s not good for us or the planet.

We also need to keep a balance in nature. That means not just saving the big animals but also the little plants and insects. Every living thing has a role to play, like a team working together. When we save plants, animals, and birds, we keep this team strong.

Now, here’s something we can all do: use our things wisely. Don’t waste water, electricity, or paper. When we throw things away, let’s try to recycle so we don’t make too much garbage. Small actions by each of us can add up to a big positive impact.

Lastly, let’s spend more time outside. Play in the park, go for a walk, and enjoy nature. The more we appreciate the beauty around us, the more we’ll want to protect it.

So, my friends, let’s join hands to save nature. Remember, it’s not just about trees and animals—it’s about our home, our future. We can make a big difference, one small step at a time.

Thank you!

Prepare a speech to be delivered in your school assembly on the topic: (5 Marks)
“Giving is Receiving”.

Use the following points:

• makes us feel happy
• promotes co-operation and social connection
• develops feeling of contentment
• develops feeling of empathy

Ans.

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends. Good morning, everyone! I’m here to talk to you about something really cool and important: “Giving is Receiving.” Now, I know it might sound a bit tricky, but it’s actually pretty simple.

Firstly, have you ever noticed how good it feels when you give something to someone? It’s like a warm, happy feeling inside. That’s because giving makes us feel happy. It’s like magic – when we share and make others happy, it comes back to us, and we feel even better.

Next up, giving isn’t just about stuff; it’s about teamwork and being friends. When we share and help each other, it brings us together. It’s like a big team where everyone plays a part. It promotes cooperation, and suddenly, everything becomes more fun and enjoyable.

Now, think about how nice it is when someone does something good for you. It’s like a little gift, right? Well, when we give to others, we make them feel that way too. It’s like creating a circle of happiness. When we help someone, we’re not just making them happy; we’re also making ourselves happy. It’s a win-win!

And here’s another cool thing – when we give, we start to understand how others feel. That’s called empathy. It’s like putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes and feeling what they feel. This makes us better friends and helps us understand each other a lot more.

So, in a nutshell, giving is like a superpower. It makes us happy, brings us together, and helps us understand each other. It’s not just about getting things; it’s about the joy of giving and making our world a better, happier place.

Let’s try to be superheroes of giving, spreading happiness wherever we go!

Thank you!

Speech Writing

Prepare a speech to be delivered on ‘Environment Day’ in your school on the topic ‘Ban on Single Use of Plastic’ :  (5 Marks)

Make use of the following points:

• choke pipes
• soil degrade
• encourage use ol cloth/paper bag.
• endangers marine life
• disturbs the ecological balance

Ans.

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends. Good morning, everyone! Today, I want to talk to you about something that’s really crucial for our environment – the ban on single-use plastic. You see, the plastic we use for just a little while can cause a whole lot of problems that we might not even realize.

Firstly, let’s talk about how plastic can choke up pipes. When we throw plastic bags and bottles into the drains, they can block the pipes, making it difficult for water to flow. This can lead to flooding and other water-related issues in our neighborhoods.

Plastic is also not a good friend to our soil. When we throw plastic on the ground, it takes a really, really long time to break down. In the meantime, it can make our soil less fertile and healthy. We wouldn’t want that, would we?

Now, imagine if everyone switched to using cloth or paper bags instead of plastic ones. It’s a simple change, but it can make a huge difference. Cloth and paper bags are much friendlier to the environment. They don’t take forever to break down, and they don’t harm our soil.

Another big problem with single-use plastic is that it’s a big danger to marine life. When plastic ends up in the oceans, it can harm the creatures living there. Fish and other sea animals might mistake plastic for food, which can make them sick or even worse. We need to protect our marine friends by saying no to single-use plastic.

Lastly, using too much plastic messes up the balance of nature. Our planet has a delicate system, and when we use too much plastic, we disturb this balance. It affects not just us but all the living things around us. That’s why it’s so important to cut down on single-use plastic.

So, my friends, let’s take a stand for our environment. Let’s say no to single-use plastic and yes to a cleaner, healthier world. Together, we can make a big difference, one less plastic bag at a time.

Thank you!

Ans.

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends. Good morning! On the occasion of ‘Reading Inspiration Day’ 15th October, I am here to present my thoughts on the topic ‘Importance of Reading’. ‘A book is a dream that you hold in your hand’.

Now, you might be thinking, “Why should I read books when there are so many other fun things to do?” Well, let me tell you, reading is like a superpower that can make your life better in so many ways.

Firstly, when you read, you open up a treasure chest of knowledge. It’s like going on an adventure without leaving your chair. Whether it’s about faraway places, cool inventions, or interesting people, reading helps you learn new things. So, if you want to be the smartest version of yourself, grab a book!

Now, think about how fast the world is changing. New things are happening every day, and reading is the best way to keep up. Newspapers, books, and even online articles help you stay updated on what’s going on around you. It’s like having a secret window to the world.

Reading is not just about gaining knowledge; it’s also a fantastic way to keep yourself occupied. Instead of being bored, dive into the pages of a good book. You can travel to different worlds, meet amazing characters, and have adventures—all without leaving your room. It’s like having a magical portal in your hands.

And here’s a really cool thing – reading makes you a wordsmith! When you read, you come across new words that make your vocabulary grow. Imagine having a superpower to express yourself better. Reading does that for you. It helps you find the perfect words to share your thoughts and feelings.

Lastly, reading is like a workout for your brain. It helps you think better and express yourself more powerfully. The more you read, the stronger your power of expression becomes. It’s like flexing those mental muscles.

So, my friends, let’s make reading our superpower. It’s not just about books; it’s about discovering new worlds, gaining knowledge, and becoming the best version of ourselves. Grab a book, start reading, and let the magic begin!

Thank you!

• Can explain lot of things of life.
• Gives scope for reasoning and thinking.
• Can give scope for intelligence and creativity.

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends. Good morning, everyone! Today, I want to talk about something interesting: how science and spirituality can be buddies, working hand in hand. Now, you might think they’re like two different worlds, but let me tell you, they can team up to help us understand life in amazing ways.

First off, science and spirituality can be like peanut butter and jelly – they go really well together. Science is like our detective, figuring out how things work, and spirituality is like our guide, helping us find meaning and purpose. Together, they make a great team.

Think about it—there are so many things in life that science can explain, like why the sky is blue or how plants grow. But then, there are deeper questions, like the meaning of life and why we’re here, where spirituality steps in. It’s like a tag team, working together to explain the big and small mysteries of our world.

Now, science gives us the superpower of reasoning and thinking. It helps us ask questions and find answers. And spirituality adds another layer—it encourages us to explore the why behind things, the deeper understanding that goes beyond what we can see or touch.

When you combine science and spirituality, it’s like opening a treasure chest of intelligence and creativity. Science challenges us to think outside the box, while spirituality inspires us to dream big and explore the unknown. Together, they fuel our curiosity and make our brains do happy dances.

And here’s the exciting part—when science and spirituality join forces, they can unlock more and more discoveries. It’s like a never-ending adventure of learning and understanding. We get to explore the wonders of the universe, both seen and unseen.

So, my friends, let’s embrace both science and spirituality. They’re like two best friends helping us navigate this amazing journey called life. With their powers combined, we can uncover the secrets of the universe, ask big questions, and find meaning in the smallest moments.

• Daily meditation and exercise
• Be in a company of cheerful people

Ans.

Respected Judges, ladies, gentlemen, and everyone in the audience Good [morning/afternoon/evening]! Today, I want to share some simple secrets about how to live a happy and joyful life. Now, I’m not an expert, but I believe these ideas can make our lives a little brighter.

Firstly, let’s talk about living stress-free. Life can be like a roller coaster, with ups and downs. But imagine if we could enjoy the ride without stressing too much. One way to do that is by focusing on what we can control and letting go of what we can’t. It’s like having a mental backpack – only carry what makes you happy, and leave the rest behind.

Next up, let’s talk about meditation and exercise. Now, I know these words might sound like a big deal, but they’re not. Taking a few minutes each day to sit quietly or do some simple exercises can do wonders for your happiness. It’s like giving your mind and body a little vacation, and who doesn’t love a good vacation?

Now, here’s a fun one – surround yourself with cheerful people. Have you noticed how being around happy folks can lift your spirits? It’s contagious! So, try to be in the company of those who bring a smile to your face. Share laughs, tell jokes, and enjoy each other’s company. It’s like creating your own happiness squad.

Lastly, take inspiration from great people. Whether it’s someone from the past or someone you know, look up to those who spread positivity. Learn from their experiences, and let their wisdom guide you. It’s like having a roadmap to happiness drawn by those who’ve found joy in their own lives.

In conclusion, living a happy and joyful life doesn’t have to be complicated. Find your stress-free zone, take a few moments for yourself each day, surround yourself with happy vibes, and let the wisdom of great people light your path. Happiness is not a destination; it’s a journey, and I hope these simple ideas make your journey a little more joyful.
