1) Constitution
The Constitution is essential for the orderly administration of a country and for the protection of its citizens' rights. The fundamental laws, rules and provisions formulated for the governance of a country are collectively referred to as the Constitution.
2) Drafting Committee
The Drafting Committee was the most important committee responsible for the creation of the Indian Constitution. It was established on 29th August 1947. By reviewing the reports received from various committees, the Drafting Committee prepared a concrete draft that gave the Constitution its final form. The final draft thus prepared was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November 1949.
I would explain that boys and girls should have equal opportunities and should not be treated differently only because they are boys or girls.
I would encourage everyone to participate in different activities according to their ability and interest, without making separate rules for boys and girls.
In this way, I would explain the constitutional value of Equality and the importance of giving everyone equal opportunities.
An election can be conducted in the class so that students can choose their Class Representative (Monitor).
- Students who wish to become the Class Representative can give their names.
- The names of the candidates can be announced to the class.
- Each student can vote for one candidate.
- The votes can be counted in front of the class.
- The candidate who receives the highest number of votes can be declared the Class Representative.
This activity helps students understand the importance of choosing a representative through an election process.
